HairsprayQueen2 марта 2016I haven't read any detectives/thrillers for a really long time, but I used to read a lot of them. Although I was impressed, even more - I was totally absorbed by the book, felt like I was watching a movie. I would recommend this book to all lovers of good thrillers. It has everything: main character, a retired detective, his wife and a tragedy in their family, a serial killer, a truly Sherlock style mystery and the details with which the author depicts it are so vivid, you can easily imagine everything - like it is happening in front of you or you watching a Hollywood blockbuster (I will not be surprised if one day there will be a movie). It reminded at the same time of all my favourite books - Holmes, Poe's "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", Elizabeth George and her Inspector Lynley; Hannibal Lecter and other movies about serial killers.
