Yep, i've read it:)
"Eat, pray, love" is an autobiography of Elizabeth Gilbert. The book is separated into three ideas-places where the main character travels during one year.
All starts with the gastronomy tour around Italy. This part of book is pretty simple - there's nothing much you should think of. The question the author is trying to answer here is "How to absorb all the pleasure without feeling guilt?"
After 4-months tour in Italy Elizabeth went to discover the enlightenment and spirituality of India. There was't a lot about the country itself 'cause author changed her plans and stayed in Ashram to discover herself. In my opinion, it's the best part of the book (even if it's a little bit boring) as there's lots things about Elizabeth got to think, which made me wonder for the first time (there were talks about independence, God, marriage etc.)
The Indonesia chapter was, from my side of view, uninformative and the main idea was about that the Elizabeth's found a man who could love her engrossing the way she did.
The story is unusual but not fascinating. May be it is for readers desperate for a breathe of motivation and consolation? May be. But I'm not among them.
